Changes to Mathematica

If you are a Mathematica user at the University, then look out for Mathematica Single Sign-On (SSO) coming soon! This means that you will be able to use your university credentials instead of separate Wolfram details.

Wolfram Mathematica is a technical computing platform used for mathematical modelling, data analysis, visualisation, programming and teaching across science, engineering and other quantitative disciplines. At the University, Mathematica is available to staff and students for research and teaching

From Monday 17 August, the University of Manchester will introduce Single Sign-On (SSO) for Wolfram Mathematica and the Wolfram portal. This means you will be able to sign in using your university credentials, eliminating the need for separate Wolfram credentials. Existing Wolfram accounts and licences associated with a university email address will be migrated automatically, making access simpler and reducing the number of passwords you need to remember.

You can download the latest version of Wolfram Mathematica from the Wolfram portal.

Official Wolfram training materials are available through Wolfram U and the Mathematica Resources site, including self-paced courses, tutorials, webinars, documentation and certification options for new and experienced users.
