We are particularly looking to add expertise in HPC / HTC, Data Science, Web and Mobile Applications, and Sustainable and Reproducible Research methods to the team. One of our current flagship projects is the Institute of Coding in which our RSEs will build materials, platforms and tools to assist learners, analyse data to understand how learners learn, and develop communities to support them.
We also work closely with the Cancer Research UK Manchester Institute to develop clinical tools for cutting edge cancer treatments; we are helping to build Smart Cities and Urban Observatories; and we are building capacity in all subject areas, from the Life Sciences, to the Physical Sciences to the Humanities. If any of that sounds like you, please apply!
These are both permanent (not subject to funding) roles. For more information please see the University job site for more details. If you would like a more practical and informative job description please contact Robert Haines if you have any queries at all about the roles, the team or the University and surrounding area.
Closing date 15th August 2018.
