Call for Participation – Mathematica Summer Workshop

Research IT is organising a Mathematica Summer Workshop at the University of Manchester on the 27th – 29th of June 2017. This will be an opportunity to bring the regional Mathematica user community together to exchange experiences and showcase research projects and teaching experience involving Mathematica.


Submissions are now open for short presentations of about 20 to 30 minutes covering user experiences of Mathematica. Please send a title and a short abstract of no more than 250 words of the talk to Shih-Chen Chao by the 31st of May. Submissions from all research areas are strongly encouraged.

Provisional categories for sessions are below (but further suggestions are very welcome):

  • Graphs & Networks
  • Social Network Analysis
  • Strings & Text
  • Parallel Computing and Optimisation
  • Image & Sound Processing
  • 3D Image

  • 3D Printing

The event is free of charge, but registration will be required. Registration information will be provided soon.
