The C++ User Group at the University of Manchester is delighted to announce our very first in-person event!
Agenda
10:00 – 11:50: C++ User Group session (flash talks + featured talk, open to UoM staff, researchers and PGRs)
11:50 - 12:20: Lunch for Morning section
12:20 - 14:00: Coding with/without AI forum (open to all including UGs)
After the morning session, we will move into a relaxed forum featuring demos, contrasting perspectives on AI-assisted coding, Q&A, networking, and a guest lecture from Marco Montella on C++ in real-time analysis.
We’re looking for speakers for the morning C++ User Group session!
We need:
- Lightning/Flash Talks: Either 3 × 15-minute talks or 4 × 10-minute talks
- One 45-minute featured talk (great topics include CMake, Qt, or any interesting C++ tools, techniques, or real-world experiences from research or industry)
This is a friendly, low-pressure environment. Perfect for sharing a quick tip, a cool project, or a useful library with the local C++ community.
If you’d like to present, please complete the short submission form.
We can’t wait to hear from you and to see everyone on 27 April!
