Announcing Upcoming GISMEO Community Drop-in Sessions

For anyone interested in Geographical Information Systems, Mapping, and Earth Observation, the GISMEO community has announced the dates of its regular drop-in sessions.


GISMEO drop-in dates

The Geographic Information System, Mapping and Earth Observation (GISMEO) community of practice is hosting three monthly drop-in sessions per month to make geospatial technologies more accessible and provide an open space for questions and collaboration.

The sessions are open to all – researchers, technicians, PS staff and students!

  • GIS drop-in: second Wednesday of every month, 2pm. Led by Dr Gail Millin-Chalabi (Research IT – Project Manager & Co-I Researcher in GISc).
  • Mapping drop-in: third Wednesday of every month, 2pm. Led by Donna Sherman (University Library – Curator of Maps)
  • Earth Observation drop-in: fourth Wednesday of every month, 2pm. Led by Dr Polyanna Bispo (Senior Lecturer in Physical Geography).
