CIUK (Computing Insight UK) is normally held in Manchester Central, but as the Nightingale North Emergency Hospital is continuing to be hosted in the venue; this year CIUK 2020 will be held virtually on Thu 3 December 2020. The format is similar to previous years events with further opportunities to be involved.

In the past UoM staff have actively presented, attended, helped on the stands and as research students given posters on various aspects of HPC / HTC and HPVis. This included the winning poster last year; Muhammad Omer (University of Manchester) "​Inspecting Bridges using Imaging, Virtual Reality and AI"

The organisers are now asking for presenters and participation this coming month including a Student Cluster challenge. To find out how you can take part in the event visit the CIUK website. The deadline for the student poster competition is the 23rd of October.
