CW17 Student Bursary Available

The Software Sustainability Institute’s Collaborations Workshops series bring together researchers, developers, innovators, managers, funders, publishers, leaders and educators to explore best practices and the future of research software. Collaboration Workshop 17 (CW17) will take place on the 27th - 29th Mar 2017 at the Leeds University Business School, University of Leeds.


This year’s event will focus on the Internet of Things (IoT), Open Data and Implications for Research, and Software Sustainability.

If you are a PhD student and would like to attend the event, Jisc have offered a student bursary which will cover travel, accommodation and registration for the event. To find out more about the bursary please visit the bursary information page. The deadline to apply for the bursary is the 17th March.

Further details have also been released regarding the agenda. In terms of local participation, Dr Caroline Jay from the School of Computer Science will be participating in a panel session on the Internet of Things (IoT), Open Data and implications for research.
