Apply for Access to Xeon Phi

The Hartree Centre has announced a 7th programme of access to its Intel® Xeon Phi™ coprocessor cluster. This is for projects from academia and industry that would like to experiment with their code on this exciting new architecture.

Xeon Phi is Intel's answer to GPU programming providing a high-core count processor, with the advantage that existing CPU code can, in many cases, simply be recompiled to run on this processor. There is no need to rewrite your code using GPU-like languages. The use of Xeon Phi means your code will potentially run faster to help speed up your research.

If you would like to find out more about using Xeon Phi please contact us.

To apply please complete and submit the application form by Friday 14th October 2016.
