Mapping for Research workshop

Do you use maps, mapping technologies and/or methods in your research? Would you like to develop your research in this area?

The Geography Department, Digital Humanities@Manchester, Methods@manchester and the John Rylands Library are running a joint workshop on Monday 13th June to identify researcher needs in this area across the Faculty of Humanities.

Digital Humanities are in the process of developing a new cross-disciplinary Mapping and Geoinformatics research cluster, and so invite all interested researchers to join them at this event. The aim is to bring together researchers, to discover what is already happening at the University, and to identify future training and software needs across the Faculty of Humanities.

Coffee and a sandwich lunch will be provided for all participants.

Please register via Eventbrite link by the end of Wednesday 8th June:
